Community Involvement

Our business is national in scope and so is our charitable support. TPH® staff are encouraged to contribute to their community by participating in TPH® Volunteer Days- events held across Canada in support of a wide variety of causes. TPH® staff support food, toy and clothing drives organized by TPH® Charitable Office for various charities.
Through the Payroll Participation Program, staff are given the opportunity to support charities through annual donations. The Printing House Limited® matches the employee contribution to the Payroll Participation Program dollar for dollar.
Year-round, staff participate in numerous collections for charity. Pull tabs are collected for the March of Dimes which recycles them and uses the proceeds to help purchase mobility aids (such as wheelchairs) for people in financial need. There are 1,000 tabs in a pound and it takes about two tones, or four million tabs to buy an ordinary wheelchair.
Special edition and foreign, used postage stamps are collected for the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind who sell them to collectors and the money raised is used to support their organization. A kilogram or 2.2 lbs of stamps can raise enough money to feed a puppy for a day!
